So long, Sergio - Jets claim K and DT

I wish the Jets would give Cole Hedlund a call about Kicking. He was a Lou Groza Award finalist at the University of North Texas and was an undrafted free agent at Indy's camp last season going 6 of 8 on field goals and 3 of 3 on PATs in all four preseason games.

Hey JD if you happen to be perusing these pages in your down time, here is Hedlund's email address  cole.hedlund@unt.edu. Hit him up for a tryout.

Are you his agent?

Ok so if a kicker has 3 bad misses -- fired

If an OC has one bad call -- fired

What exactly is the standard for an OC/HC to get fired?

For this season - finish 0-16. Anything more is unacceptable.  Why would anyone want a new coach at this point?  Three weeks to Lawrence.  A win screws this up. I would not have even signed a new kicker.

Should’ve just kept the whole gang together

Never forget.

JD could have chosen the NFLs leading scorer at the end of the draft, or managed to go after him hard as an UDFA.

But he chose instead, to choose someone to punt the ball away.

Think about this.

Jets have attempted 23 FGs and punted 65 times.

We got a lot more ROI for the punter we took.

62-12 Rams

It might be a little too close for comfort but I'm always partial to games that end up 21-12.

Even if it ends in Tears, you have to hope the Jets learned some Lessons.

(If you aren't amused, you need to rethink your taste in music)

The guy that's near the bottom of all punting categories except net yardage (which is a pointless stat to grade a punter off of) and inexplicably getting Pro Bowl nods?

That guy?

Sergio is now taking a passage to Bangkok.
