peebag
Fields may or may not be a good NFL qb but he won't last in NY. He'll always be the reminder of what might have been. Trade back and wait for a Manning to declare.

BurnleyJet
I just can’t take it seriously now, we aren’t going to be the least bit competitive for years if ever. The AFCE is Bills, Dolphins, Patriots and Jets. Get used to it. No Q.B no hope.

Out of curiosity, with the Jets having the leagues worst starting QB, and Fields not being good enough to be the replacement, who exactly is trading up for the #2 pick?

Yucatan Jetfan
I think we have too much invested in Darnold to not give a one more chance with a real coaching staff. Draft weapons and OLSent from my SM-J701M using Tapatalk

Peteo
Trade back and the reason I suggest that is Ohio State has never produced a quality NFL QB. I don’t believe Fields will be any different.

Lawrence was only one worth dumping Darnold over.
Skeptable
Serious question... What would it take for the jets to have the easier strength of schedule... If afc east all keep losing and afc south keep winning wouldnt it effect the sos

jeremy2020
Neither, but it doesn't matter. Only way the Jets HC job was attractive was with Lawrence. Bring on the uninspired hire of Bieniemy.

Besides the fact that your opinion is wrong, as his skillset is obviously extremely limited, the conversation is about trading the #2 pick. If the QB available isn't better than the worst QB in football, then no one is going to give up much for it. That's the point. If we don't like Fields, we're taking a below market deal, or drafting another player at 2.
