This is now officially a rebuild.  No sense in putting money into the QB position for another 5 years.  Draft Fields or trade back and grab Wilson and invest in the team around him with the league leading cap space. At least we have Jacksonville beat in something...

Darnold. If Josh Allen can go from RB to MVP candidate Sam can make a big jump with competent coaching and a decent team around him. He looked like he belonged today. The fight this kid shows has to be worth something. Plop Sam on that OSU team and they beat Northwestern by 50.

Unfortunately at this point I believe Sam's highest ceiling is a good qb in a decent system, but not anywhere near a superstar. If you tell me (besides Lawrence) that there is another QB in this draft with potentially higher ceiling than that, I'll support drafting him .
