Greenseed4
There is actually a precedent for this trade. In 2016, the Rams traded up from #16 to #1 overall. Titans got: 2 firsts, 2 seconds, and 2 thirds. Both teams have become considerably better since then. The two years prior to the trade TEN, was 2-14, and 3-13 (4th place in division). Since the trade, they have been 9-7, 9-7, 9-7, 9-7, and this year 11-5... making three playoff appearances in that span. The Rams went 4-12 in Goff’s first year (he didn’t play until week-11). Then they finished 11-5, 13-3, 9-7, 10-6...also making three playoff appearances in that span. Jumping from 16 to 1, or in this case 12 to 2...can actually be an incredible opportunity for both teams to greatly improve their rosters. Might be the “big trade” Schefter was alluding to.
