Rhg1084
If you were a team in the market trading for a QB would you rather trade for Wentz or Sam?

bitonti
Darnold because of rookie contract also Wentz' injury history not great
Jetlife33
I think Wentz will be really tough to move for Philly.
Patriot Killa
Darnold because of age and contract but.. Wentz’s career is very salvageable. One down year isn’t enough for me to write off an otherwise 27TD-7INT career passer. He’s been a lot more successful in this league.

Wentz sucks this year, but was a legit MVP candidate a few years ago before his injury

Icer
Wentz is more talented but seems like a bit of a headcase and has major injury concerns (not that Darnold doesn't) plus a giant price tag. In a vacuum I'd pick Wentz but with all those other factors it doesn't make sense.

Amazing what happens when you build a team from the inside out.
section314
Sam. Everything you hear about Wentz is that he is despised by his teammates. No thanks. We just got rid of a guy like that.
ScarletKnight89
Darnold Simply because of the contract.

jeremy2020
Darnold. I'm not paying a backup QB more than a few million.
bla bla bla
Wentz is the expensive, injury prone, bad attitude version of Sam.
choon328
Wentz comes with 4 yrs left, $96 million total. But it's essentially a 2 yr $47 million deal. Darnold comes with 1 year and an option year that you have to make a decision on right after the draft that'll cost at least $25 million. The better player by far is obviously Wentz. I don't want Wentz but between the two you'd take Wentz in my opinion.
Charlie Brown
Darnold--- Wentz's attitude is poison as is his current play!
BroadwayRay
Wentz hasn’t been the same since he fractured his vertebrae. He’s also had multiple concussions since his college days. Plus the contract. The answer is obvious.
flgreen
None of the above. actually depends what you want them for. Wentz is way to expensive to be a back up. Both are injury prone. Wentz has shown in the past he can play. Darnold hasn't. Like I said, None of the above.

Well considering both are likely to be traded I asked a simple question who has more value.

If I were a GM I wouldn't trade for either of them, so to this wan-a-b Gm, neither has any value

JoJoTownsell1
Wentz had one really good year. Darnold never had that. But the contracts make Darnold a better gamble for teams dealing with cap issues.

doitny
Wentz cause he almost won a MVP. he has the talent to do it again. and i guess alot of these answers was before the 2nd half of the game where Sam is imploding.
Klecko73isGod
Darnold - he is younger and doesn't have a legendarily sh*tty attitude.
