Bowles Fired

Mac Fired

Gase Fired

God I love this team.

For once I'd really love to be legit excited about a hiring or signing or draft pick.

You forgot that "lucky" St. Patrick's Day trade by Mac with the Colts that cost the Jets "only" three of their 2nd round picks to move up three spots from the 6th pick to the 3rd pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, which netted the Jets another GrEaT USC quarterback, Sam Darnold. This after passing over Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Patrick Mahomes in that draft and the year before it. That St. Patrick's Day trade had us salivating for Baker, Darnold or Rosen.

Beating the Bills at Buffalo in week 14 of Darnold's rookie year was the "best of times" as well. Remember when Sam scrambled the Bills for a td like he was Fran Tarkenton? Screw getting the top pick in the 2019 Draft. Aint nobody wanted to trade up for that midget Kyler Murray. That win was a foundational builder. That's how you change cultures with a lame duck coach right before you hire Gase after getting fired by the Dolphins. Fake fans wanted us to lose that day in Buffalo with visions of Nick Bosa dancing in their heads.

The moment Darnold was drafted. No matter how his time ended.

I thought about this but and trust me, I was happy but there was a contingent  that hated the pick. I think everyone was on board with the firings.
