Walt Michaels over any of them - and he's dead.

I see that SAR has now voted...

Mangini is the only answer.

lol

I only included relatively recent guys dating back to the early 2000's.  No Al Groh, no Parcells or Belichick on this list.  No Weeb Ewbank either.

Hasn't coached since 2015 when he was the Defensive Coordinator for the 49ers and gave up a division-most 387 points against.  It seems like his ship has sailed.

No Pete Carroll? My choice, followed by Mangini, then Herm.

Well if you're going back that far, why not Belichick?

Not that I’d hire him again but he built the team that Rex took to the AFC Championship. If Favre’s arm didn’t fall off in 2008, our last decade might have played out pretty differently.

I mean, look at the other guys on the list.

I don't think winning this poll is a huge endorsement of the guy.

Mangini - because he is the one coach you could argue could have won here if he got more time. We fired him after two winning seasons in three years and a 9-7 season (the collapse from 8-3 to 9-7 was decisive).

Having said that, the correct answer is NONE

Rex without question. Back to back AFCC. No other coach in my lifetime has had more success with the Jets.

You old dinosaurs can feel free to bring up some legend from yesteryear.
