FlightBoyz
Bill O'Brien destroyed that Organization. The only reason to coach that team is Watson & he wants out. There new GM has a ton of work to do.

Be the best way for Houston to rebuild & according to this site there are 2 QBs after TL in Wilson & Fields! Houstons gonna be a sh*tshow next year! Cap problems, JJ Watt probably gone, aging roster.

DJF71
Houston is an awful franchise with no draft picks. Jets have a highly sought after #2 pick, another first and tons of money.

Look at HOU's history of starters before hitting a HR on Watson. Jetster
Watson is worth going after! An unhappy QB does not a franchise make & the Texans have no assets or draft picks to turn it around, have aging stars, JJ Watt, Mercilus, Fuller is a FA. Maybe this is the big trade? JetsFanShawn
4 hours ago, Teflon-Don said: What an absolute sh*tshow in Houston..the Houston Jets "Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is in high demand for potential head coaching jobs and while the Houston Texans had their eye on him as a candidate, it seems he has declined the interview. There doesn’t appear to be an exact reason why but anyone paying attention can get an idea. Things don’t look great in Houston given the recent drama surrounding the hiring of new general manager Nick Caserio. Whether that was the reason or something else, Eberflus declined to interview with the Texans, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Going in the division would have been a tough sell for Eberflus anyway but with how things are unfolding in Houston, it’s pretty clear that won’t likely be the destination if Eberflus does take a head coaching job. Part of the report from Pelissero also says that Eberflus will be interviewing with the New York Jets on Sunday and the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday following the Colts’ wild-card weekend matchup with the Buffalo Bills. It remains to be seen if he will wind up with a head coaching job, but we know it’s most likely not going to be with the Texans." ... "Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus has turned down the Texans’ request to come in for an interview for their head coaching vacancy. The Texans initially sought permission to interview Eberflus before hiring General Manager Nick Caserio, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. Although no reason has been given for why Eberflus turned the Texans down, it raises the question of whether he’s leery of the issues going on in Houston, where many people around the league have concerns about the direction the franchise has gone in since Jack Easterby, the team’s executive vice president of football operations, got owner Cal McNair’s ear. The hiring of Caserio, who has long been close to Easterby, strongly suggests that Easterby is calling the shots. And Eberflus may not be interested in coaching for a team run by Easterby. Also concerning about the Texans is the possibility that Deshaun Watson, the franchise quarterback who is by far the team’s most valuable asset, is unhappy in Houston. Eberflus is still scheduled to interview with the Jets and Chargers, so he wants a head-coaching job. Just not the Texans job." and eric belimena
