That’s because the “other guy in the room” was Maccagnan.  So CJ did know more than the other guy.

Don’t fear being wrong. You took a swing based on legitimate info; and apparently it’s what is being heard around the league. Kudos to you, regardless of what happens.

According to Ian Rapoport and Peter Schrager, Saleh arrived last night and met with some of the people from the Jets organization and is now meeting with Christopher Johnson this morning.  He wil

Of all the things I’ve “broken” here, this is the one that is making me sweat the most because of how many people are telling me it’s looking good, and how big the news is.

"What do we think?"

The whole thread is telling you what people think yet you don't want to read or hear any of it.

1. McDaniel is the star.

Remember all those new run plays and wrinkles the 49ers used for the first time in 2019? Those probably came from McDaniel. Shanahan and his father are zone-blocking purists. McDaniel is a run-game genius who has mastered every blocking scheme. Most teams would love to have him.

Just spoke to three people now...

Barring a snag, I believe Saleh is going to be the next Head Coach of the New York Jets.  I was told by one of them that it’s trending towards “done deal” territory.

Nervous as f*ck to be putting this out there so the team better not screw this up lmao.

I don't know who you know but keep feeding us such great information buddy.

I dont see why everyone wants him, sideline presence maybe, but his defense finished out of the top 10 every year but 1..maybe I'm missing something but I never heard anyone say they don't want to face 49ers defense

I don’t want face them. There you go. I’m the first.

Douglas and Saleh are out to dinner , some steakhouse in Morristown.

Probably Roots or Rods. Rods is at The Madison Hotel which is extremely close to the facility.

A couple of random thoughts:

  1. I wonder if the “Jets will be interviewing other second-round candidates in person” report was put out there so that the other teams interested in Saleh wouldn’t see the (potential) signing coming.
  2. It would be only appropriate that a coach whose football career was inspired by post-9/11 soul-searching would realize his dream of becoming an NFL head coach with the New York Jets - especially considering that September will mark the 20th anniversary of that awful day.

So an exchange of fluids then?

Sounds like strong commitment with Jets and their tossing of Salad, without the D.

All I got out of your post was, you were listening about the Salad.. hold the D.
