What?!?  I mean... a militia, seriously?  Doesn't that seem to be just a bit extreme?  I mean, come on, like anyone would ever embrace such a dramatic over-exaggeration of a simple debate.

For jgb's next thread....  How many Super Bowls would the Jets have won if they just stayed put and took Dan Marino who eventually retired so that Tom Brady could take over as Jets QB for him?  (Assume they only played for a combined 30 years)

- 8 Super Bowls

- 12 Super Bowls

- 15 Super Bowls

- 20 or more Super Bowls

The correct answer is zero because *opens Darnold excuse book to p. 184* he would've busted here anyway.

@SAR I had some if the greatest Chad memes back in the day.

The others on that list don't compare.

It was truly staggering how creative people got, the debates that were had.

For some people, if they didn't like Chad they absolutely hated him.  They were the kinds of people that would storm the Capitol to stop him from being Jets QB.  For those that supported him they were in love, they named their first born son Chad, and withheld their precious bodily fluids from their wives until Jets games were over.

There was no in-between.

Namath, Martin, Revis, Pennington.  The Mount Rushmore of Jets. lol

Meanwhile, you do know what kind of pet Chad Pennington had, right?

No debate.  It's Pennington by a mile.

The Penningtolists vs. the ACM (Anti-Chad Militia)?  It was like Israelis vs. Palestinians.  Nobody ever budged.

Who remembers the OG meme “bitches don’t know my about noodle arm” ??

For those who don't know BG and myself and maybe a few others escaped this disputation (EY got me to looking up fancy words ) with our lives still in tact . If @CTM shows up ALL BETS ARE OFF

I was not on any football message boards during the Pennington era. What was the breakdown of supporters vs dissenters?

Mets Fans, typing under their Rusty Staub posters:  "Chad is a swell guy!"

Yankees Fans, typing under their World Champions pennants:  "What a f---ing loser."

Well I was aged 9-15 for the Pennington era and I thought he was a f---ing loser. Also grew up a Yankee fan.

Remember those wackadoos who were literally quoted as saying that the noodle was the kind of guy you wanted your daughter to marry?

I mean, yeah, I was all in on the endless debate of his QB'ing talent, and the rather clever facade he created for himself, but there was a whole other level of crap going on there that can never be matched.

Sanchez, the number of you dummies that thought this guy was good or the least bit responsible for the jet success was astounding.

I voted Sanchez as well because I had my personal biggest QB wars over him.

It was unreal to me that people thought Sanchez was good.
