All pro types get paid in 5 year spans like Watson. They might have to front load it (like Watson) but if ramcyzk makes it to market, he will get more than Trent brown less than bakthairi. That's how it's going to happen What's the alternative he takes Jamal Adams 15 mil because no one else can afford? Believe it when we see it

Jets may be better suited to use the cap space on the interior of the Oline at G and and maybe C then try and get a RT in rounds 2/3 where we have 3 picks to groom behind Fant for a year or so.

Football TV ratings are still going up and the next cba will be bigger than the last According to Nielsen, excluding rescheduled games because of the pandemic, the 2020 regular season averaged 15.4 million viewers (live + same day), a 7% decline from the previous regular season. Maxman
This is good news. The Jets are ahead of the curve either way.
addage
Read several articles saying NFL ad revenues were down. League had to give advertisers “free” ad time in back half of season to make up for revenue already collected but not earned. Viewing stats did not meet contract specs so a discount on future ads was required. Also wonder how eager the owners will be to shield the PA from economic fallout. Last few years have seen PA be pretty aggressive in negotiating training camp and player rights issues. Wouldn’t be surprised if owners were willing to let tough economic times hit players pretty hard. Looking forward to seeing the final cap $ for 2121. addage
Couple of questions re upcoming FA negotiations. Will more top players take 1 year deals or take a discount for multi year deals? Mid tier fa’s may come at a discount as some GMs chase top FAs and then face severe budget restrictions. JD might add a few players without compromising Jets salary cap. This would allow Jets to take a solid first step in 21 and be in position to add a couple of top players in 22.
