OT...Question on posting on message boards...

NIGHT STALKER

Recommended Posts

What do you people think of Jet fans that post on every conceivable Jets message forum and some rival boards as well? Do you consider them passionate or just one sick **** with no life? Me? This place is just fine...

Hey stop picking on my Buddy Tex!!:) I don't think it's a problem! The Boards are a source of amusement so to each his own! Hell some Fans like Stat Monkey's, that doesn't make them sick does it?? Although the Martinette syndrome is being studied by Mental Health Organizations around the country!!:yahoo:

I don't know Savage, I think posting on 15 sites is a bit much...I mean, there is a life other than talking Jets football 24 hours a day...at least there is for me and I consider myself a passionate fan.

Hey did I not recommend this site to you?? You just had to find a site that you didn't want to kill everyone on it!! Here you just have Bit to kill!!

That is pretty funny! Which is weird because JetFanFl comes off very level headed and likeable here. I am not sure what happened on other boards but he is the man here.

Anyhow I was always just a one board kind of poster. It takes a lot of time to get to know the personalities on various boards. JI was the only board I ever posted at regularly. Things took a turn for weirdville and then here we are!

One board is fine....getting on multiple boards is just too time consuming. I guess for somebody with a job it is. Maybe some folks are just wealthy enough to sit around the house and not worry about going to work or any actual human contact.

Hey Max say something Bad about MIckey Mantle!!:flex:

Savage is trying to get the Vets mad at me.

Mickey was a great American. A great Yankee. He played with heart and never gave into all the pressure he faced daily on the field.

Mickey is a Champion!

I wonder if multi-site posters are similar to video-game addicts. For some people particular activities will cause a release of dopamine in the brain, creating more "fun" than others might experience.

Interesting question. I have relatives and friends who are in the mental

health field. Recent events caused me to ask about that

at a recent family gathering. Without knowing the exact problem

with a particular subject the consensus was that there is an underlying

psychological problem that would cause a person to be addicted at the

level you are referring to.

Actually its sad that someone could be in a situation like that. Probably

no life to speak of and this is the only outlet.

As for me I'm a one board man. And as some of you know i have

a horse farm that keeps me busy far more than i would like at my

age. getting on the board helps me wind down and converse

with people who have the same interest as me.

My wife is thinking of getting another horse. I might name it

Curtis. Then we get Savage up here and let him ride him.

Why would I want to ride a Old washed up Horse that's ready for the Glue Factory?? That Horse must have run for alot of Miles but never won a Derby unless all the Top horse's were scratched! Not to mention the only race he won was when he got a Handicap over the other Horses! Ride him?? Hell I'll feed him to your 5 Dogs as fresh Alpo!!:yahoo:

I have a better idea. I'll rig up a blanket similiar to the one in the pix

and get CURTIS MARTIN written on it. You come up and get on

him and I'll take a pix and post it on the board. That should win

us some kind of award of the year.

"Never trust a person who has given you bad directions"...Yogi Berra, circa 1958

Hey I remember that incident with you two guys.

Its a classic in the annals of tailgating.

Yogi also wrote... you can lead a horse to water but Jetfanfl and Savage

have to be led.
