LAD_Brooklyn 1,090
ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports LB Matt Judon is seeking $20 million annually on his next contract. Judon is a free agent for the second straight offseason after playing last year under the franchise tag. His sack numbers (6) were down in 2020, but he had a career-high 21 QB Hits and a safety in 14 games. Four of the Ravens' five outside linebackers are pending free agents, but re-signing Judon is the biggest priority. Judon will likely have to come off his $20M asking price to stay in Baltimore. Popular Post Untouchable 14,629
Don’t want Judon Dude is pushing 30 and is better suited as a standup 3-4 OLB anyway. Trey Hendrickson is the guy we should be talking about. And he’s a guarantee to hit FA with the Saints so cap strapped. 16
Popular Post ScarletKnight89 3,519
We need to be looking for 4-3 defensive ends now. Judon is more of a fit in a 3-4 scheme.

Most people don't know who Hendrickson is but he's going to get paid alot of money. He fits our need 4-3 DE. Had 8.5 sacks last year on the Saints DLine, is that a product of being on the same line as Jordan and Rankins or is he really that good.

Hendrickson had 13.5 sacks last year He’s a great athlete and has gotten better every year. Also just turned 26 in December. That’s the kind of guy that you pay in FA.

So is Dee Ford, however in a 4-3 * Wide 9 those sort of edge players are useful dispute their lack of size and liabilities sort of against the run. Not saying let's get Judon especially for that price but from a fit stand point he'll be a target for the weakside. Edit: 4-3 Wide 9

addage 405
He can seek whatever he wants. Will anyone pay it? This time of year, everyone is posturing. Agents are out making stuff up. It’s the off-season so the media publish it. The fans go ooh aah. Real news starts with the beginning of the new league year.
TnT 786
This just in: Judon wrote jet green is his favoritist color on his LinkedIn. I doubt he’s even on the Jets radar, as he shouldn’t be 1
LAD_Brooklyn 1,090
Ravens OLB Matthew Judon denies that he's seeking $20M a year in new contract The offseason is underway for the Baltimore Ravens and that means taking a close look at their own pending free agents to see which players they want to re-sign. With Matthew Judon and Yannick Ngakoue set to hit free agency and Baltimore expected to have little cap space in 2021, the Ravens don’t have an easy decision in front of them. However, ESPN’s Jamison Hensley reported Judon is seeking $20 million a year in a new contract — with Baltimore or elsewhere. That’s a figure that would all but automatically price Judon out of the Ravens’ interest and certainly make the team’s decision easier. But not everything is quite this easy when it comes to the offseason. Judon quickly fired back on Instagram saying that he’s yet to even talk to the Ravens, much less has asked for $20 million a year. But in his typical joking manner, Judon pulled down his sunglasses at the end of the video and added, “20 M . . . I’m with it.”
nycdan 19,613
How many cap dollars can be spend on ex-Raven LBs? I'm thinking we're already at our quota.

bla bla bla 3,779
I didn't want Judon before I knew what he was looking to get haha. Now this just makes it really easy. Could be an option for Jacksonville though.

jeremy2020 5,138
Are you seriously advocating spending more money on Ravens linebackers? The Jets are probably currently paying almost as much as they are for their linebackers to not play for the Jets.
pointman 4,959
29 at the start of the season. 6 sacks. $20,000,000.00.
jetstream23 29,871
Draft an Edge rusher at #23. This is actually a decent year for pass rushers. There will be a handful of guys with late 1st round grades that should be on the board. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2021-nfl-draft-meet-the-intriguing-edge-rusher-class-from-kwity-paye-to-patrick-jones-and-more/ 1
