Lafleur’s decision is especially bad when you factor in Tom Brady being behind center. His strategy may have worked with a better defense and a non hall of fame QB on the opposing team. If I am the owner, I consider firing Lafleur.

And no, this has nothing to do with our Lafleur. Our Lafleur is better.

That was Darrell Bevell calling a pass on the 1 level bad sheesh

@Mogglez @football guy how do we get a rule change proposed?

“12 men on the field” should only apply to situations where 12 defenders are actively defensing a play.  Calling that penalty when a transitional player is ONE yard away from exiting the field of play seems to missing the purpose of the rule.

The fact that a player HALF A YARD away from the sideline gave Tom Brady a first down....is beyond ridiculous.

#1  The question has been answered as to who was the driving force behind the pats all those years.  (Other than the rampant and disgusting cheating all through that era) People always wondered is it Brady or Bellichick.  That has been answered.  Belli without the fluke 6th round pick has done nothing at all in this league.

#2 Aaron Rogers is overrated.  What?  Beerish you are a fool! He is going to be mvp this year!  He threw for 3 tds and 350 yards!  He also tossed a critical int late in the 1st half and the packers were chasing the rest of the game.

1st it was thompsonss fault, then it was the oline, then it was the defense then it was mccarthy dragging rogers down like a boat anchor.  He just lost to  guy that threw three ints.  Other than his one super bowl year like a decade ago he is something like 7-9 in the playoffs often with great reg season years.  Great QB?  Yeah for sure, but not as good as the press he gets.

Going for a FG was not only the wrong call, but it was completely sackless. Seriously, suck a stupid call (as was NE accepting that penalty to make it 1st and 10 instead of 2nd and 1).

Or it was amazingly gutty called based on supreme undeserved confidence.

Two thoughts:

I wonder if GBs GM is having second thoughts about using the 26th pick on Jordan Love rather than Tee Higgins, Michael Pitman Jr or Clyde Edwards-Hilaire.

Did the Packers have any inkling that their Tackles were incapable of even slowing down very good pass rushers before this season started? If so, why didn’t they do something about it?

While everyone talks about the 4th down decision, the bigger issue was Rodgers decision on the play before.  He had a ton of room to his right.  Probably could have run it in.  Worst case scenario, he is stopped at the 1-yard line.  Where they likely go for it on 4th and 1.  It was a curious coaches decision, but it never should have come down to it.

Yep, trusted his arm more than his legs.

Bakhtiari was injured, that definitely hurt them.
