The guy posted the highest non-SEC QB rating in college history with the highest PFF grade ever to boot. I feel like some people just don't want to like him, that's fine. They will outbid everyone (will go 4-first round picks), they will offer starters/recent high draft picks, and for HOU they get Deshaun out of the conference and can spend the next few years blowing it up/rebuilding the entire roster. I know people think “well the Jets have the 2nd pick... it’s so much more valueable!” For one, Houston knows they have a multi-year rebuild ahead of them, and given the state of the roster, drafting a QB can backfire horribly (see Darnold, Carr). Secondly, Caserio wants to build around the QB, not necessarily through; if they keep Deshaun the intent is obviously to build around him, but if they lose him I don’t think his roster building strategy changes—he’ll seek to build around the position before investing high draft capital/money in a new QB. Having a young franchise QB to sell is a big deal when you lose a Watson. Or as somebody said that 2 pick is so valuable you can get more assets. The bottom line is IF Douglas is willing to go all in the Jets have a lot more assets to give then the Panthers. Lastly who ones what Caserio really wants to do yet in terms of team building? Its like the people who act like they know what approach Douglas has

Dealing with the pressure is only thing these guys all had. ... and what is the ONE thing we don't now about Zach fcking Wilson Can he handle pressure *shake my damn head* That Coastal Carolina game he was under a good deal of pressure, got hit a lot, and still played well. And that was considered his 'bad' game. The more I read, listen and watch about the kid, the more I'm open to drafting him. I always like your takes, if you watch the Coastal Carolina game, I'd be interested in what you think.

Lamar Jackson is from the ACC, Watson, Trevor, who does Clemson even play before they make the playoffs? Mahomes is from Texas Tech, Herbert went to Oregon, Murray and Baker played in a conference where defense is imaginary. Romo came from Eastern Illinois. it just doesn’t even matter. What matters is who you are as a QB habitually, what are your habits, how do you go about pressure, studying, training, reading defenses (even if lesser competition) still, how do you go about reading them? It all matters more.
