They may reach deals with some mid-tier FAs such as K'Waun Williams, but those won't be deeply negotiated deals. "Offers" will be presented (have already been presented), the agents will talk through some things with Dave Socie/his office regarding some outstanding questions, and they'll give a "ye" or "ne". If they want more money, they'll have to wait until Douglas can revisit those discussions.

Right now, the "big guns" - Joe Douglas and Hymie Elhai - are focused on speaking with pass rushers and pass protectors.

He’s not on the phone(of still on the phone) with Thuney?!?!

that’s it, get him out of the office!!!

Free agency won't make or break Douglas's tenure. It will be the draft.

True, but if we miss on free agency, then it makes it a no-brainer that we will not be trading for Watson.  We will need the draft capital to improve the roster.

It's very good.

Not as good as cream cheese and pickles, and it gets soggy quickly, but it's basically a cherry-cheese (or whatever flavor you choose) danish in sandwich form

Cream cheese and pickles HMMM love cream cheese with scallions - gotta try it thx!

Jets wanted Pat Elflein back, but they're going after bigger fish and the money he received was a bit rich for a player they felt would be competing for a starting job. They valued him as a C/G, but if the team signs Linsley they'll have one in Connor McGovern and may now consider re-signing Josh Andrews for depth purposes.

another edge off the market

Disappointed by that one.  I was impressed by Okwara last year, and really liked him as a more affordable edge-rush option for us.

I predicted us to sign him at 3 years, $40M so at least my numbers were right.

I'd like Yannick Ngakoue for us now.
