Still don’t think he signs with the Jets... not sure we’ll be the highest bidder and may not waste too much time barking up the wrong tree if it seems unfeasible, and I think Thuney will wind up in Cincinnati. Really interested in seeing how this plays out regardless.

I agree....Herdon still might be good but damn the hype tho and the crazy watson stuff...jus tlook at all those peopel jumping in line to get on houston because of the generational qb they have, I mean the team sucks but tey have that qb it is totally different that what we already have in sam and no team around him, totally diff I tell you.

Douglas can build through the draft and also use cap space to make a few smart free agent signings.  

As long as the contracts are intelligently constructed it would be negligent for Douglas to approach free agency the way you're acting.

I will say this, if the Jets do build an OL that on paper says:

Beckton

Thuney

Linsley

McGovern

Fant

I could almost see us using the #2 to trade back and target Pitts, then drafting Mac Jones to eventually take over for Sam. Jones behind that OL would be fun. Just not a scrambler like everyone gets geeked up about.
