At this point, the Jets have got to land Hendrickson and either Ngakou/Lawson. Couple that with a signing or trade in the secondary - Sherman? Lattimore?

After that, one of the top WRs has got to be a Jet. 

To me... this is the only way free agency will be a success. Tell me that we signed Jarrad Davis, Kendrick Bourne, and the 49ers 30 year old nickelback at the end of the week and JD can get fired

I understand that.  I’m not saying I agree with all his decisions.  I don’t blame him for Thuney.  He got a massive deal from a SB contender.  We would have had to pay Thuney 20 million per year probably

Holding out hope that JD is planning to go heavy oline in the draft (not just one guy), because oline draft picks have the lowest bust rate.

Hopefully spending the cap space on the riskier positions (WR, edge, CB).

With Thuney and Linsley off the market, Jets are likely to hang tight with what they have, add a veteran or 2 on cheap deals, and look to build through the draft. Jets weren’t finalists for either. Unwilling to go beyond 4 years and had lower valuations specifically on Linsley ($10m apy).
