Not familiar with him TBH. But the more veterans helping Saleh succeed the better. Happy thatJD is providing the financial support

DC at Georgia under Mark Richt around 2015.  When we hired Kirby Smart, Pruitt left for Bama as DC under Saban before he was hired as HC at Tennessee.

Stuff went on with him at UGA, did not seem to get along well with other coaches, rumblings of creating an adversarial us vs them mentality between offense and defense.  Challenged Richt's authority as HC.  Wanted to stay at Georgia as DC when Kirby came on board, but we decided to move on.  Good defensive mind and did not seem to have same issues at other stops that he had at Georgia.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee blamed now-former head coach Jeremy Pruitt for expected serious NCAA violations that could continue to bring scandal to the university, the notice firing him for cause said Monday.

The university said Pruitt sat for a seven hour interview with external lawyers hired to conduct the school's internal probe last Thursday. The still-undisclosed NCAA violation findings are expected to be of the most serious infraction level.

It’s pretty bad.  Even Phillip Fullmer the A.D. stepped down.  Must be bad if Fullmer left Knoxville.

Tennessee took McDonald’s old slogan of “We Do It All For You” literally for potential recruits, it seems.

On Tuesday during his talk show, Dan Patrick talked about how Tennessee coaches handed McDonald’s bags full of cash during visits to recruits.

Who does he know on our new staff that got him this job?  Kind of goes against what the coach is trying to instill here.

"In addition, the university has concluded that the NCAA will likely find that you failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance within the football program and/or monitor the activities of the coaches and staff members who report, directly or indirectly, to you," the termination letter continued.

Pruitt has always been an arrogant f**k.   Not surprised to see the program get caught doing all of this stuff.

Agreed.  Volunteer fans got what they deserved, they couldn’t wait to run Fullmer out as HC, they haven’t been relevant since.

The fanbase got all sanctimonious as they were about to hire Schiano, based on his PSU connection. The university buckled under the fan reaction.

What was once a power football school is near irrelevant. I imagine that Peyton tries to come in and quell the waters.

Agreed.  Their fans still think they are some Blue Blood historical program, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
