McKnight had the advantage, as a rookie draft pick - even though he had a terrible camp. It came down to Clooney v Woodhead for the last spot. Jets preferred to keep an extra WR, but clearly liked Woodhead. They tried converting him to WR, but obviously that wasn't his natural position. Basically he's an intern and his job is to help new players adjust to the community and show them around.
