JerseyJetFan2880
So the thread on the changes to the parking situation at the Meadowlands got me thinking: What were gamedays at Shea Stadium like? I was born after the team moved so I never got to experience a game there. Was it similar to Mets games? Were there any cool traditions that didn't carry over to NJ? CSNY
Game days at Shea were great. Tailgating prior to and after game and you were allowed to bring in your own beverages in cans only. Was a lotta fun back then and season tickets were $72.00 a piece with no mandatory purchase of pre season games
SAM SAM HE'S OUR MAN
Shea was a dump ; but , it was OUR dump . The Jets don't even have a stadium , they rent .
