Fields, for all his flaws, has been through the ringer. I wouldn't be comfortable with either at 2 but Fields feels more like a JD/Jets pick than the "Lets get Zach Wilson drafted by the NY Jets" media blitz that seems to be coming out of left field 

you're right every class is different. both are reaches at 2 compared to Sewell, Smith or even Chase

It really wasn't all that long ago that both Ryan Nassib and Geno Smith were alternately being hailed as the #1 pick in the draft. We all know how that turned out. It's only gonna get better as we move forward. ?

regardless of competition if you watch the tape he makes some insane throws into tight  windows..

The ability is there.. I don’t see him as a reach at 2..

Wentz, Flacco, cutler, even Chad Pennington himself... You can be from a non traditional school but you have to prove it, usually at mobile

I don't know who that is but assuming that we are talking about this most recent senior bowl, other than Mac Jones, and Kyle Trask who didn't play due to the injury, the most interesting late Rd type was Jamie Newman who was a wake forest transfer to Georgia who opted out of last season for covid. Cecil Lamney said the others (Ian book) couldn't play.

I just don’t think the competition he faced is a red flag for Wilson.

Put Mac Jones on BYU and see how he looks throwing to college wide receivers.
