Barton 66,784
Rotation is Cole, 2 guys that havent pitched in 2 years (Kluber & Taillon), 2 rookies and Montgomery who hasnt proven anything. Seriously? The NY Yankees need to enter a season with a high risk rotation like this? Why?? Lineup is still unbalanced. Too many guys who dont make consistent contact and arent clutch. Literally the same flawed lineup as last year. How is Gary Sanchez still on this team btw?? Literally the worst defensive catcher I have ever seen. Yankees have 1 World Series ring in the last 20 years. Cashman has done some good things rebuilding this team after 2013/14 when they were mediocre but lately he's done nothing impressive. Maybe it's Hal not wanting to spend extra dollars but I dont see this franchise as very hungry to get over the top. Cashman doesnt seem to understand that you have to give up big league talent to get other big league talent that makes his team better overrall. No reason why Gleyber or Voit shouldnt have been available in a trade for a guy like Whit Merrifield or a front line starter. Right now we have a pretty bad infield defense with Voit at 1b, Gleyber at SS, Even worse when Sanchez is catching.
Philc1 13,521
They resigned LeMaheiu and Kluber is a good buy low signing who realistically can be a solid #2 starter for a season

That, in itself, made this a great off season.

Good thing you didn't trade him for Castillo.

There were no sexy moves to be made this offseason besides signing Bauer which wasn’t happening
section314 8,846
Yanks brought Gardy back. One year deal for 4MM. Also, Zack Britton, the Yanks union rep, had some very harsh comments about German. Wonder if the team as a whole just wants this guy to go away?
