Adams' 9.5 sacks came on 98 blitz attempts.  And when he failed to get to the QB, it exposed the rest of the secondary.

Maye's 2 sacks, meanwhile, came on 23 blitz attempts.  So on a % basis, his sack productivity was nearly proportional to Adams'.

Plus didn’t Seattle have the last or dead last pass defense in the NFL?

Well apparently it's now some sort of great defense of a player if he doesn't play, even if over multiple years and the teams still perform as well, if not better, in his absence.

But hey, credit where it's due, it's a pretty unique bonding experience with an NFL player when the one thing most fans can always feel we have in common with Jamal is our total number of career INTs of starting QBs.

When Jamal Adams dropped that easy pick from Sam Darnold, Mike Maccagnan received his wings.

...Yet refuse to take care of their best player, Captain, & team-voted MVP in his prime who had several All-Pro votes...and who played out his entire rookie deal and even changed positions on his contract year (after they got rid of last yrs All-Pro safety).

Best player on a 2-14 team.
Free agency is loaded with Safeties equal or better cannot overpay Maye.

Goodbye Maye.

Safeties are very low premium, lots of them out there.  Maye is an okay S , easily replaced in the grand scheme of things if needed.

They will franchise him.  Hopefully his agent can stfu.

Just like how Robby was easily replaceable?
