Who rightly gives a ****? It's not how far the ball goes, it's how fast it gets there. There is quite a difference between stepping up and heavinng it and dropping back an ripping a deep out. FWIW, I am sure that Wilson's arm is fine, but the ball does not seem to fly out of his hand like Fields to me. I am not complaining about his arm, but it doesn't seem like a cannon to me. I guess people see what they want to see. Wilson to my eye has the most explosive arm on outs in this class.

But as you see above, both things I hate about his game from a mechanics standpoint this is just danger at the next level show up on this little clip; double heel click and he drifts after his release...oh and I just looked it again, the other thing I hate, he holds the ball below his waist before he winds up. jetstream23
I have no idea about Wilson. Some pretty credible people who have a track record of being correct on quarterback evaluations (ex Chris Simms) have him ranked above Trevor Lawrence. Several others have him as the 4th or 5th best QB in this class. I have no clue....but I hope the Jets do.

They got into this after Trawtwig talked about him throwing from his knees from the 50 through the goalposts as part of his warmup in school. Which he also did at Hofstra along with the EZ-EZ pass for MSG , it was scary impressive. Like you said, means not a thing. Watson tested worse than a Chad like arm. You got a better chance at winning at the Casino crap tables than picking a QB in the draft. Where’s Wenz, Trubisky, Rosen, Goff, Johnny Manzell, etc, etc, etc...... I could go on and on. Many get so high on college QBs and most don’t pan out. Hell the Jets picked Jamal Adam’s and left Mahomes on the board. One thing is for sure, ya just don’t know whose going to transition successfully from a college QB to an NFL QB.
