Might be premature on Moseley. If he comes back motivated he is one of the best linebackers in football. I suspect he thought Gase was a douche, and it seems he and Saleh have talked. He did not get credit for last season so he is still only on year 2 and at this point not even egregiously expensive.

I am really down on Mosley for opting out last year. For a guy who was brought here to be a team leader it was a terrible look.

I'd like to weigh in the worst FA giveaway in Jets history...a no doubter.  JOHN RIGGINS.  I will never forgive the Jets for that one.  He was already on his way to a HOF career with the Jets.

You are correct. He was a RFA. The Jets did have to forfeit draft picks.

I think Keyshawn has got to be one of the best trades and we’ll find out pretty soon if adams is right there.

with regard to coles , didn’t they let him walk before bringing him back? They should’ve re-signed him. Coles and moss would’ve been a good receiving duo.

It was the same situation as Curtis Martin on the other side. Washington signed him as an RFA and had to give up the Jets a first round pick in compensation. 
 

Jets packaged their original first round pick and Washington’s to move up to 4th overall to draft Dewayne Robertson.

i can see where coles walking and the jets getting a first round pick didn't turn out so well.  robertson could've been a really good player if he had knees.

All Santana Moss ever did was catch the ball and run out of bounds so that he didn't get hit. Some of you guys may say he had some kind of storied career in Washington, but I remember when that guy played here he was a wussie!
