where on the draft grade would you give his first draft?

how many teams are better than him?

Probably too early to say but the Jets had probably the easiest roster in league for a rookie to start and make an immediate impact and it just really didnt happen. Everyone besides Becton is still a complete question mark.

Joe Douglas is the best thing we have had since Parcells.  We are extremely lucky to have him. This is going to be one of the most exciting jet seasons in years.  Now that it is completely torn d

what do you mean "too early to say".  you posted: He walked into a crappy situation and is now being hamstrung by his initial draft having so-so results.

so you seem to be having a view. so - how many teams had a better draft than he did?  worse?

if you take the few teams before and after us in the draft - which teams would you want to replace our draft with?

I have been a HUGE critic of joe especially since folks have been crowning him on hope not results but too early to fire him

If he does not upgrade the roster in a big way this year then it is time to talk-with the money and draft capital -a trash roster is not acceptable again

He should have won a couple of Super Bowls by now.

It’s impossible to say because of the Jets current roster situation compared to other, more talented teams. The rookies Douglas took should have been able to get on the field more than they did and it’s concerning that many couldn’t break the starting lineup on a 2 win team.

N....but more then a couple wins in a season be a start

Last season he shed all the sh*t that Mac brought in. He is starting to build the team now. While free agency can supplement a team we are going no where until we make our draft picks better. I’m cautiously optimistic about the 2020 draft, this year’s draft is huge.

Not really. There were alot of players on the field Joe put on the field through drafting or FA

what about comparing to the dolphins - another team in our division who wasn't great.

Its Douglas’ fault that players dont want to play for this bum ass franchise.

Former players and agents regularly sh*t on this team. Only building from the draft will change the rep bc free agents aren't coming here.

Who exactly did the Jetd miss out on other other Judon? Has Thuney or lindsey signed anywhere? What about any wrs?

Someone with 18 followers on Twitter tweeted about Golloday to the Giants, so that's obviously a strike against Douglas.  He's not getting any fake tweets about his signings yet.

Again a WR who is very good and can't stay on the field. Dont see that as a huge loss if they dont get him. If even true.

You mean we should have paid for a 3-4 outside LB to play in Saleh's 4-3 defense?

TE Jonnu Smith

So they drafted 2 tight ends last yr but had to sign a tight end whose never had more than 448 yards in a season. I mean im not hurt over them getting him. Hunter Henry can do the same things.

Does the new GM get to pick his coaching staff for him at least? I feel like he should get to force at least one coordinator on him.

I believe that is a required component of the plan.  This way everyone gets to plausibly complain that they had someone foisted upon them and should not therefore be blamed in case we end up losing.

Rinse, wash, repeat.  Or some such
