I keep hearing about this relationship.

Link to a reputable source of this claim please?

Because I got to say, simply living in the same neighborhood is not, IMO, a "relationship" in most places for most people.

Somehow I doubt Boozer, you'd like to be linked to say, a rapist living two blocks over from you simply because you lived near him.  I mean seriously Boozer, why DO you have a "relationship" with rapists ffs?

Well it hasn’t prevented me from putting you on ignore… at least until your case works it’s way through the appeal process. Don’t you find the timing of this strange? He’s been with the team 4 years. Loved by his teammates and no issues whatsoever.
Now this? Something smells. Guys worth a couple hundred mil. Your guess as good as mine but accusations are not fact

Here is what I think:

I think that it is extremely likely that he asked/hinted for a sensual massage. Not sure if people realize how common it is. And it is common because even legitimate masseuses offer the service often. And if they are advertising on Instagram that likelihood goes up. And if people believe that even in establishments like Massage Envy this does not happen is deluding themselves.

But it gets tricky here.

Many masseuses start offering this because it can be a lot of extra money, it's safe, but most importantly because of the dynamic they are or feel in control.

If the masseuse says no it should be no. And the masseuse might even offer that to other clients who she feels comfortable with.

But she is not obligated to do it. just like any consensual activity. It is against the law for her to do it and depending on situation it might be against the law to ask for it.

But if you aggessively pursue it especially with any level of force, you not only take away their consent, but endanger them and assault them. Even if it is something she might normally do.

Who knows what the situation is here?

It could be masseuses who just see an opportunity to make money in a lawsuit.

Or it could be situations where he was just not going to take a no, or even situations where the masseuse thought if she started down that road he would force more. It looks like the one was actually massaging his butt hole so maybe things would have been OK if he stayed passive.

So it is tricky and also he said/she said unless they have texts ( and ones more incrminating than the one that was released)

I won't condemn either side here. I assume both are sincere and innocent (he of assault they of essentially extortion) until proven otherwise.

Also, for those that say why didnt they file police reports? Well unfortunately unless there was physical violence and injury, I suspect the police would not really aggressively pursue it even to the point they just assume she is a sex worker.

Regardless, it is a really bad thing on both sides. If he is a serial predator he needs to face consequences. If these are all trumped up charges they should. 22 plaintiffs is a lot though, definitely creates a bit of smoke

I was associated with that business for a long time and everyone knows the difference between a rub and tug masseuse and a neuromuscular therapist. The latter has to do continued education, has a degree, has insurance, normally works hand and hand with doctors/chiropractors/physical therapist and shows up wearing scrubs not in lingerie.

Definitely seems weird that if Watson was trolling Instagram for skeezers, as athletes quite famously do, he’d make the mistake of reaching out to legitimate massage therapists. Weird sh*t

I don't think it can be taken as a mere character assassination attempt anymore, but at the same time, I think the lawyer's position in this is opportunistic. He has personal reasons for attacking Watson, but that doesn't mean the plaintiffs don't have a case.

This may be an unpopular statement in today's environment, but I'm also going to say that none of what's being alleged is out of the norm. Masseuses have always dealt with this type of stuff and gender has nothing to do with it. It's the nature of the profession for both males and females. You're rubbing someone's bare skin while they're naked. It feels good. If you have a girlfriend/wife, get some lotion out and start rubbing her back. See what happens. Deshaun's not a bad guy if he wanted/asked for a happy ending even if he's not supposed to. Politely say no and move on. If you find it so offensive than don't be a masseuse because it has happened since the beginning of time and will continue to until the end of humanity.

If Deshaun crossed the line and was aggressive or forceful that's one thing, but nothing we've seen so far indicates such. Problem is he's a famous guy, and he should know not to put himself in that situation.

And for people saying "he's just looking to get a massage." Please. Just cut the crap. Take the rose colored lenses off. The team he plays for literally employs multiple people to give treatment, including massages. Stop putting Deshaun on a pedestal; he's human.

End of the day, Deshaun will likely have to settle and all will be forgotten, but it's not something that's simply going to be dismissed with this amount of girls coming forward/NFL investigating.

Asking is one thing but hes being accused of touching them with his junk, exposing himself.  Not just kindly asking if he can get yanked.

And then theres the Chiro claiming he forced her for a hummer

We're way beyond asking territory if true

There’s no need for him to. The agents have guys that go to the stripclubs and escort services to find girls like that for them and keep them out of the loop. I could see if he did it one time and made a bad decision in today’s world but not 10 or 12 or whatever it is. Either he has a fetish for it or something is up.

This is never going to trial but I wonder what would happen?

How many accusers would drop out if they had to testify?

On the Watson side, his reputation would be killed and the Shield would pressure him to settle.  Would Watson have to testify?

Unless there are charges forthcoming, I’d imagine using this half-assed excuse will be good enough cover for whoever trades for him. The implication is that he couldn’t go to clubs to meet chicks, so he imported them.

It’s much easier having a dirt bag ambulance chaser attorney working with 12 individual women than you suggested. These 12 women aren’t working together these are 12 women each Individually working with a lawyer who has a relationship to the team owner.

Theres a whole lot of guesswork on your part here.

Its much easier to accept that theyre telling the truth than theres some hit job being put together by an attorney

Are you saying that you believe that the most likely truth is that the lawyer rounded up a dozen woman who may or may not have had an interaction with Watson and told them what to say to make a score, and that no sexual assault occured?

Or are you saying that the lawyer maybe heard about what Watson was doing, maybe looked to confirm the rumors, and then rounded up these women who claimed to be assaulted and convinced them to come forward and file a civil suit? And that this wouldn't have happened, or at least not now, otherwise? It wouldn't shock me if it came out that that was the case. But that really wouldn't matter in judgement of Watson.

I don't think it's at all likely that 12 or more women would come forward and publicly say they were sexually assaulted if they weren't. I can't recall a situation where the accusers were lying and it was more than one accuser, let alone a dozen.

Unless there are charges forthcoming, I’d imagine using this half-assed excuse will be good enough cover for whoever trades for him. The implication is that he couldn’t go to clubs to meet chicks, so he imported them.

I think its more likely that he's into something specific (backdoor oil 'rubs', forcing the woman, I don't know) that he thinks he's more likely to get away with in what he likely thought was a prostitute situation (I mean I do agree if you're trolling Instagram for a masseuse you're probably not expecting one with an MS in Exercise Science).

The common thought is: with so many woman how can they all be lying? My thing is out of 22 women not one chose to goto authorities? Especially the alleged oral victim. On top of that the lawyer is neighbors with the billionaire owner and actually paid for banners for the Texans to draft Johnny football. ?

I also know the Texans have made it abundantly clear that there will be no Deshaun Watson trade. Also the Texans have become the Jets over the last few months as far as negative press, very embarrassing. Now the QB is coincidentally being shamed... 2 of the alleged victims were recommended by Texan personnel ?

**Is this a ploy to keep him in Houston?
Well regardless I find it hard to believe buzz bee is coming forward with this if Deshaun never asks for a trade.

Something is up with all this

There a whole lot of poor excuses for why you believe he didnt do it, why 23 people are lying through their teeth with no regard for another human

I guess the Q-Anon'ing of everything in our culture is just the new world we live in these days, where everything is a massive spectacular conspiracy theory full of speculative insanity.

You should start a YouTube channel, people love a good conspiracy theory channel.  Maybe throw in some "Moon Landing was Faked, Evidence Here!", "Jan. 6 was Really Antifa False Flag PsyOps!" and "JFK was Really Killed by Dwarves from Mars!" vids, and you'll be rolling in the dough soon enough.

Christ can you people read? The majority of my post was the facts that are currently available, literally the last section was the only part I threw in my speculation. Smfh

My experience here in California is those lines are not as clearly delineated. And I have some friends that are legitimate masseuses.

Be quiet or be cancelled. Please refer to the acceptable topics to comment on. However, this one covers two topics, judicial justice system reform for minorities & #MeToo! The deciding factor is that this a a Rich African American so that requires us to swing to the #MeToo. You need a scorecard these days.

That doesn’t apply to everyone, certain posters can post controversial takes and the hive will still royalty suck them up. The hive only attacks the “unpopular“ or “unliked” posters. Not unique to JetNation though, it’s the state of the sad world we live in

Sorry I look at facts to back up accusations. Doesn’t appear HPD has reason to move forward with investigation.... here say. NFL will due to the optics & multi-$billion TV deal still to be approved.

It was every part.

out of 22 women not one chose to goto authorities? Especially the alleged oral victim.
An accusation, not a fact. Google "why women don't report sexual assault to police". Then add "celebrity attacker" or "pro athlete attacker".
the lawyer is neighbors with the billionaire owner and actually paid for banners for the Texans to draft Johnny football.
Maybe a fact (they lived in the same Houston area but he says he doesn't know the family) but certainly written with an implication of conspiracy (see chon scratch emoji). He is a Texas A&M alum, him paying for the billboards was supposedly more about being a Manziel / A&M supporter and thinking it made sense to keep him local.
the Texans have become the Jets over the last few months as far as negative press, very embarrassing. Now the QB is coincidentally being shamed... 2 of the alleged victims were recommended by Texan personnel
Again facts, but loaded with implication.
