124
Blah. Great. So now Chad & The Jets have even more time to restructure and more time to think about cutting Kendall. Also, could this delay the JAbe trade? Sowell Train said that it will be done by as late as tomorrow night...now will it have to be delayed until Monday? Chad's bonus kicks in at midnight so I believe they have to resolve him today. How does this affect teams like Denver and Herm who cut a bunch of players today? What a mess. 124
Nevermind. Huh? Nevermind what? The CBA is the reason for this delay of 3 days. They'll keep delaying it until April 1st or so if they have too until they get a deal done.

How does this affect teams like Denver and Herm who cut a bunch of players today? What a mess. It probably depends on how Chad's contract was written. If the bonus was supposed to be paid the first day of the new football year 2006 then it is pushed off otherwise it is due tonight if his contract spells out the date. IDK about Denver and Herm but Mawae was not officially cut yet as far as I know. Therefore maybe that story was premature.

AVM
just heard on espn that the NFL front office said everyone cut today is officially "uncut," just incase they get this thing done.
