Nope. He’s getting cut. Cole is his replacement.

The penny pincher wont pay him and we will enter the season with the worst group of receivers in the league. Because that’s what a young QB needs.

Let’s hope that doesnt happen

at that price it should be noted that he said no to better offers from superbowl caliber teams. what exactly do you think the jets would have had to offer to get him to jump ship when he took a lower offer to stay in pitt in lieu of playing with the best qb in the league on a team that has been in the superbowl twice in the last 3 years and won one.......

My comment is more so directed at what he was willing to give Periman. I dont really want JJSS either. Just think the guy's evaluations of the position (thus far) have been suspect

The fact he told Sam’s parents he would take care of their boy means he may not even realize it’s not a good thing. That’s absolutely terrifying.

Allen Robinson = No longer available.

Chris Godwin = No longer available.

JuJu Smith-Schuster = No longer available.

I'm praying JD makes a last second run @ Kenny Golladay because A.) He's a top tier #1 outside WR and B.) I'm sorry but adding a good #2 WR in Corey Davis; just isn't enough firepower @ WR heading into the draft.

• Davis/Mims/Crowder is not a good top trio.

✓ However adding Kenny Golladay as a true #1 would immediately make a 4 WR unit of Golladay/Mims/Davis/Crowder A+ heading into the draft with A+ draft capital.

Plz JD. Splash one time on Kenny Golladay.

The cap-strapped Steelers have found a way to pay receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster $8 million without paying him $8 million.

Per a source with knowledge of the deal, Smith-Schuster’s new contract has a signing bonus of $7 million and a base salary of $1 million. With four voidable years, the cap charge for the signing bonus becomes $1.4 million in 2021. Add in the base salary, and it’s a $2.4 million cap charge.

Others have reported that the cap charge is only $1.6 million. While the difference isn’t huge, $1.6 million isn’t accurate. And with the Steelers so tight against the cap, the extra $800,000 could end up making a huge difference.

The deal kicks $5.6 million in cap charges into 2022. The remaining years void five days after the 2021 Super Bowl.

Smith-Schuster could have earned $9 million with the Ravens. He took $1 million less to extend his career with the Steelers to a fifth season.
