Smizzy
Why so pissed about this Smizz? I wanted the dead weight cut and the old contracts redone. We were 4.5 hrs away. now we have to wait all weekend.
124
I wanted the dead weight cut and the old contracts redone. We were 4.5 hrs away. now we have to wait all weekend. I'd rather wait and hope that the owners and pa can work out a deal so the future of the NFL is not ruined. Giving up an extra 3 days for the start of the 2006 NFL FA to begin is worth it if a deal is struck.
Sperm Edwards
Man. Imagine if we already awared Chad his reworked deal already, and then the owners/NFLPA get a new CBA worked out. Would have screwed our 2007 cap up. I don't think we keep him if there's a CBA worked out. We'll have enough space to eat the cap hit this year, while we're rebuilding anyway, and next year have all the room we'll need & then some. Also means we could've been given a few extra days to try to at least squeeze a 6th or even a 7th rounder out of Philly. Not that a player that low will be an impact player for us, but we could use that extra pick to trade up a bit in an earlier round. Oh well. Sperm Edwards
Isn't his roster bonus due at midnight? ooh - you're right. Unless he agrees to postpone it, though I don't see why he would.
LionelRichie
Isn't his roster bonus due at midnight? depends if the bonus is tied to 3/3 date or to the league calendar i.e. 1st day of the new league year
