Darnold to the Panthers

For that return, would have been smarter to keep him.

Basically, the same stupid mistake we made trading Teddy B for peanuts, before we knew what we had in Sam.

Watch Carolina turn Sam around for a 1st next spring.

2nd and a 4th isn't bad at all

Awful trade for us

Why is it awful.

Sam Darold ranked dead last in 2021 at QB guys off the streets had better stats.

He was chosen to be the franchise QB and it didn't work out like so many others.

Next man up.

The value of a 2nd and 4th two years out is peanuts, just for the record.

I dont trust anyone involved with the Jets organization.

1 year wonder, rookie HC, rookie OC, terrible team - this has disaster written all over it.

I agree.

2... 4... 6....

Too bad we didn't get 8 as in the 8th overall pick. :P

Some even numbered Draft picks including a 2nd rounder doesn't seem horrible.

The ball is now in JD's court.  This is truly his team.  Pick the right QB and you'll be employed here for a decade, JD.  Pick the wrong one and you're no better than Tannenbaum and Maccagnan.

No pressure. lol

1 year out. You gotta spread these picks, otherwise it'll be tough to re-sign a bunch of dudes the same year.

Meanwhile Sam becomes the next offensive player to blossom after getting away from Adam Gase

Did math wrong.

Still not the 1st we were "holding out for". Wonder what SF was offering... ?

Carolina was really the only team out there where this trade makes sense. I wasn’t expecting much.

Never forget Schefter: “I’ll be surprised if the Jets trade Darnold” for everyone who believes his words are law.

And Good riddance Darnold you filthy animal 🖕

Me too.... starting in 2022 when his positive performances don't affect the value of 2 of our draft picks.
