Robert Mays from the Athletic talked about the trade on his podcast and he mentioned this stat. He also talked about how historically there really hasn't been a QB that has been this bad for this long and turned it around to become a good player. The most recent players to experience a turnaround of that magnitude are guys like Drew Brees and Alex Smith, and that was 20 years ago, in an era with very different offenses.

If the Jets decided to trade a 2nd rounder, 4th rounder and 6th rounder for a player who ranked 49 out of 51 in EPA the past 3 years (the only two worse players are Josh Rosen and Dwayne Haskins), and ranked as the 33rd best QB in the league last year, who here would call it a good trade?
