Lurker89
Lol Like Mark the person Mark the quarterback was horrible and is severely overated by segments of this fanbase. I was at his last game as a Jet on what I believe was Dec 31 2012 at the good ol dirty Ralph Wilson Stadium. He threw three picks and had at least one if not two fumbles.... That's the highlight of my fandom knowing I saw his last game and got to put a cap on that $#!+.

SomebodytoAnybody47
Sanchez is starting to become a pretty good analysts or whatever you wanna call it. Good informative thoughts. I like it. We need a 2009-2011 Jets documentary. I want all the stories with those guys.

Wilson's mechanics are lightyears ahead of Darnolds. Darnold moved frenetically without going anywhere on simple dropbacks.
Popular Post JetPotato
I keep hearing that Wilson prefers to throw off platform. I'm starting to understand the strategy so far this year on the o-line. We already have the most off-platform-enabling blockers in the league. Leave it be. 2

Except Wilson stayed inside of the pocket to throw more than Darnold at USC % wise & also makes twice the better decisions.

Aside from them being gunslingers (which is one of the most common traits in a QB prospect), there is no comparison between the two. Talent, mechanics, decision making, consistency, protecting the football. They couldn't be further apart.
Jet2020
My first official Jersey was a Sanchez jersey right out of college. Now I have money (thanks stimi!) but scared sh*tless to buy another jersey only to see it suck. Might buy a Josh Allen jersey. Is it too late? Never buy a jersey of an active player. Go with a retired player. You can't go wrong. I've had season tix since 1980 - giving them up this year (long story), but I got 40 years out of Namath jerseys with the occasional Martin and Chrebet. Pick you favorite former Jets player's jersey and sleep like a baby.

ryu79
I don't get the Sanchez hate. He wasn't that good in general, but in big games, Mark showed up pretty well for us. He wasn't Mahomes, but he did well in those playoff wins and never said anything derogatory about the fans I can remember. By the time he left us though his short comings on the field had been exposed and he could barely receive a snap clean...but I never had a character concern with the guy. I hope he gets a shot to do more tv stuff.
pdxgreen
I don't hate the Sanchize anymore. I hate USC QB's in general. So I've found coping mechanisms. Which is good!

He gives up a lot of ground on his drops and even more under pressure. Not a good habit unless you are working with a bazooka arm like Mahomes.
