Connor Hughes@Connor_J_Hughes 7m The #Jets said they viewed Alijah Vera-Tucker as a “top-10” player. That’s why they traded up to go get him.

I'm not sure why everyone is hell bent on trading back from 34 just to get back a late 3rd. You're going to pass up on a potential 1st round value just to get back what will most likely be a career ba

So I think that AVT trade is the best of Douglas' career. Recouping a 4th and giving up two 3rds in a draft where everything after the top 30 players is a crapshoot is great. Throwing Lawrence away fo

I F*CKING KNEW IT

THEY GOT THEIR #1 GUY

..and we're gonna have to hear about how genius it is that Belichick didn't trade up and got his #1 choice for months years

Lol I don't care. It's just a tacky tattoo choice. Dude could be tatted up like Connor McGregor for all I care, but have some style.

So you aren't following him on twitter. Got it. Dude fell, the Jets got him, get your football priorities straight.

I have a feeling we might trade down.  34 will be very valuable

I hope not if Marshall is sitting there at WR available or if Harris or Etienne drops.

We could've had 5 picks first 3 rounds.

Now? Only 3 picks first 3 rounds.

Too many awesome players to throw away two picks.

I hate this pick.

Pure sign of a great pick , you hate it

You did call a move up with the 2nd first rounder.

I didn’t think they’d move up to 14 though. Word I got was the Jets would not be denied a top OL, and AVT’s agent laid out a scenario where he *could* fall into the late teens. Obviously the Jets were not going to wait

Considering what we have, and could have lost... future 1sts, it’s not a disaster, compare it to what Chicago gave up.

JD loves a hard bargain, and I’m certain well have plans to move from 34 now.

Sit tight at 34 and take Etienne or Najee Harris. Enough with hoarding picks and trading back. Add bigtime talent to this team

If we get to 34 and either are in the board, we have to at least consider it. Got to give Wilson some help.
