The Official Draft Day 3 Thread

I absolutely LOVE that the Jets are finally moving away from the 3-4. We've been limited by unathletic LBers for a decade. The fact that we are going all-in on our strength, the DLine, and drafting athletes to play behind them is exciting, tbh.

10+ years of never finding the right "fit" at OLB 3-4. Stupid.

Scheme to the talent you have, or bring in a system you can draft for. Finally stopping with the square peg, round hole bullcrap.

I wonder what Vilma’s up to.

I don’t want to sound harsh but if you don’t love this draft then you don’t deserve a penis.

Such a strange feeling when the Jets keep picking the players I want them to

The rest of the league is going to feel really stupid when they realize there aren't any DBs left for them to have!

A large part of Sherwood’s NFL projection depends on how his team uses him, but as a weak-side linebacker, or a hybrid strong safety, he should have a bright future ahead.

There aren’t many holes in Sherwood’s game, and although he’s not quite an elite athlete, he could potentially be a tremendous player in the right fit. Off of his tape, the Auburn safety looks like he could be a Day 2 pick. However, with the questions surrounding his projection, he could also potentially fall to Round 4 or Round 5.

Hey, I like Douz.  If he's on board with the pick, it's good by me.

He's been doing the Jets analysis on SNY. I guess Bart Scott is gone.

Kiper  “One of the best tacklers in space in this draft.”

McShay says “He is today’s NFL. He loves playing football.”

Jets can use some guys who can tackle for sure.

Drafting D in this draft is like Delilah cutting Sampson's hair.

This team has a ton of holes, and that includes the D.

Oh absolutely. And the defensive linemen are more athletic, too. It’s just going to be so much faster.

Figure the five techs were similar in size to DT’s and the OLB’s were the size of the DE’s. So trade two bigger linebackers and a NT for three smaller linebackers.

Getting pressure with the front four instead of scheming pressure and relying on corners covering guys will be nice too.

Shaun Wade is this bad that he’s still available?  I thought he was a first rounder!

I’ve read that he has serious character issues. Quitter,
