2022 we'll have 4 picks within the first 2 rounds (NYJ/Seattle 1st's and NYJ/Carolina 2nd's).

Seattle making just three picks would tie for the fewest of any team since the 1999 Saints, who memorably (infamousl?y) traded away the rest of their draft class for running back Ricky Williams.

Holy Cow did JA deal screw then royally. Have signed 19 UDFA so far.

One item that has me nervous:

Pete Carroll says he has talked to Richard Sherman "quite a few times'' over the offseason and Seahawks would be open to it. "We'll see what happens.''

All depends on if Wilson stays or not, if he stays will be similar or within 3-6 spots down from this year. If he leaves? Top 10 pick, book it.

Maybe.  I would be fine with a late teens pick.  We could even use one of our seconds to move down if a top talent falls a bit like this year

Think with Saleh at the helm EDGE is always going to be a consideration. Barring a major step forward from Zuniga or a big FA acquisition I firmly expect that to be in play early too and next year’s class should be better. Kayvon Thibodeaux from Oregon looks like a legit top of the draft prospect depending on where they end up picking. Lots of other big names too. Zach Harrison might be the next guy to come from Ohio State.

Not clear how good the TE class will be but only Wesco and Ryan Griffin are signed next year and not sure how big a FA splash they’ll be able to make there. Should be something to watch out for but maybe it’s a second round need. Love Jalen Wydermyer from Texas A&M.

Next year’s center class looks pretty good. Great year to draft McGovern’s replacement and move him to guard or move on from him. Tyler Linderbaum of Iowa is the big one and also a couple guys who have played well and have great bloodlines - Alec Lindstrom from BC (brother or recent first rounder Chris) and maybe Luke Matthews of Texas A&M (part of that loaded group of Matthews’ who have played on the OL there, brother of former first round Jake and son of HOFer Bruce).

Suspect those will be the big three for premium selections. Stuff like right tackle and corner could certainly pop up but depend how the season goes. Too early to take another QB and other positions don’t seem as premium or have a lot of bodies.

Love the draft - think we’re looking at two picks between the 10-20 range which this year would have been good enough for a premium player like Slater.

also think between Rattler, Howell and 2-3 more potential risers Jets can capitalize on a heavy QB crop. Washington, Detroit, Denver, Texans, Steelers can all be due for a QB.

excited to see how the prospects compare to this years crop but looks like  Edge is stronger for sure which is perfect for us.

With Seattle having to sign 19 undrafted FA's due to only having 3 draft picks? It's going to be fun rooting against them. Wilson or no Wilson they could become a bottom 10 team; giving us a top 10 pick of the 1st round.

And it's going to be really fun rooting against Carolina with Sam. Hopefully he pulls off another 10+ loss season for Carolina and we'll be picking really early come the 2nd round.
