Sonny Werblin
Trade back is the what this draft board begs you to do. Picks in the middle rounds is where the value is at and stockpiling picks for the next draft because making the Jets a perennial contender is a process. Weapons for Zach - Burks, Robinson, Spiller. A dependable two way TE in Ruckert (to pair with Shultz, Gesicki, Njoku or Howard from free agency). Continue the O line rebuild with Smith (nasty) and Lindstrom. Starting quality CB and LB in McDuffie and Tindall who fit the athleticism mold favored by JD and Saleh. Cam Thomas and Sam Williams for the edge - increases our chances of hitting on one - and Garrett because we are thinner at DT than you might think plus Saleh loves penetrating athletic guys for the D line. We finish the draft stockpiling 4 second and 4 third round picks for 2023 allowing tons of flexibility to get this thing done. Remember Rome was not built in a day, but once it was built, it dominated the world for over 1,000 years. 25. Treylon Burks WR Arkansas 35. Cameron Thomas EDGE San Diego State 37. Jimmy 2 Times
No trades: -High Motor Edge -Right Guard to match AVT's nastiness. Possible move to Tackle in a year. Line rebuild is complete! -Starting TE -WLB -Boundary Receiver to replace the Mims disaster -Back to the UGA well for a starting RB. Carter goes to change of pace back where he will excel and stay healthy. -D line depth. He fits what Saleh wants. -Second TE for the big sets LaFleur loves -Secondary depth I'm satisfied with this draft, although I would prefer to move back from ten and add a premium 2023 pick. In that case I would've drafted Linderbaum with our lower pick and moved McGovern to RG. The rest would stay the same:

Maynard13
So many good players in this draft but realistically we can only probably draft 8-9. JD more than likely trades back at 10 and trades up somewhere along the way as well. My favorites to draft early in first 2 rounds - with trading back at 10 gets us another 2nd rounder. So 5 picks in first 2 rounds. would be thrilled with 5 of these guys - *Thibs, Hutch, *Lloyd, Ekwonu, *McDuffie, Elam, Spiller, *McBride, Burks, Muma, Linderbaum, *Muma, Harris. And in middle and late rounds my favs - OT Kinnard, WR Doubs, CB Wright, CB Gordon, OF Lucas, C Lindstrum, RB White, S McKinley, DT Haskell, DT Ridgeway, Edge Thomas, WR Watson, CB Jones, FB Horath, WR Gray, WR Ross, WR Robinson, OT Raiman, LB Tindall, LB Smith, TE Ruckert

Doggin94it
Again, this would just be a silly good draft. Ekwonu to finish the line and hedge against Becton/Fant not progressing or re-signing, Lloyd and Asomoah to revamp the LB room, Joseph at safety, Johnson at Edge, Burks, McBride, Ruckert and Cook for the skill positions and Weatherford as a wildcard defender. Oh, and Seattle's 2023 1st round pick. 1

I really doubt JD does not draft an edge with one of the first four picks, nor will he likely double dip at WR so early. The reality is whoever we get at #4 will seem like a reach. OL: Ekwonu seems like the guy most would want. In last year’s draft, he’s not going before Sewell. And he would be in the mix with Slater and AVT who went 13th and 14th. Edge: Kwity Paye went 21st last year. Are Karlaftis, Walker and Ojabo better prospects than him? Slightly? Maybe? WR: The top guys in this draft are in the Justin Jefferson, Henry Ruggs, DeVonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy and Jaylen Waddle level of prospect. Or guys that typically go between 8-20. Basically whoever we get at #4 and #10 in most drafts are guys who tend to get drafted between 8-20. So then it is who will improve your team the most? A Kwity Paye, AVT or DeVonta Smith? I’m taking the WR.

Popular Post GangGreen Machine
I have been interested in some folks talking about not trading back with picks #4 and #10, but actually trading back in to the later half of the 1st if there is a guy the Jets love still around. Here is my preferred mock if that were to happen. Thoughts? Obviously mock draft simulators can be deceiving but this would solidify both sides of the ball with starting roles that need to be filled. #4 - OT Ikem Ekwono #10 - EDGE Jermaine Johnson II #27 - WR Treylon Burks (Trade with Bucs for #35 and 2023 2nd) #38 - LB Christian Harris #69 - TE Jeremy Ruckart #108 - S Smoke Monday #114 - RB Brian Robinson Jr. or Best RB Fit Available 5 1

JohnnyLV
Would be a fantastic draft but Burks is really really unlikely to be there at 27 unless he runs like a 4.8 and then we wouldn't pick him either.
