Going to struggle to top this one. All major needs addressed, and some good value picks:

I could actually have had Ruckert in the 4th, but I have taken him off my board because of that whole "Bills are the only New York team" thing.  Anyway...I think that Woods has huge potential, after threatening some of Heath Miller's receiving records at Virginia.

I think I'd feel pretty good about something like this. I think we need to walk away with an EDGE, a CB, a WR and an OL with the first four picks and where you pick them depends. Could be talked into Sauce at 4 and the best EDGE left at the top of the second. I think Zion Johnson or Kenyon Green in the second is ideal. Not sure McBride actually lasts to the third but that would be a coup.

That's a good draft, and I would be happy.

I like that one quite a bit, other than waiting too long to get a tight end.

Yeah, I'd normally have gone TE earlier but I just love Travis Jones and couldn't pass him up in the 3rd.

Woods is my preferred later round TE though. After his combine, getting him in the 4th would be a bargain. He's huge, fast and a load to bring down.

There are always some surprises on draft day, I could see something like this.

Genuinely hope OL and TE depth get love day three kind of like the back seven did last year. They’d obviously need to hit LB and S in FA to make something like this work. I’d been doing that instead of CB/RB previously. Think the rest is pretty vanilla, they likely need more picks. Could see them skipping WR too - would’ve taken Dean or Lloyd if they slipped to the early second but it was Dotson - who’s either redundant or what they’re looking for depending on your perspective - in this scenario.

Here’s my latest thinking based on FA rumors and how I would approach the draft giving what I think will be an underwhelming FA.

Free Agency:

WR: none. ? I think Berrios signs elsewhere and we dont get Cooper or anyone other starter

iOL: Austin Corbett

CB: Donte Jackson (we miss out on Carlton Davis)

Veteran placeholders: Zach Ertz TE and KJ Wright LB

Resign: Cole, Flacco, Feeney, McDermott, J Smith, Phillips, Guidry, Piniero, Coleman

Cut: Griffin, Van Roten

Draft:

1.4. Travon Walker Edge Georgia (invest in the trenches)

1.10. Garrett Wilson WR Ohio State

2.35. Boye Mafe Edge Minnesota - another guy up front (Walker, Mafe and Lawson - that’s a strength)

2.38. Calvin Austin III WR/PR/Gadget  Memphis (a more explosive version of Berrios) WR group: Moore, Wilson, Davis, Austin III, Cole and Smith

3. 69. Kellen Diesch OT Arizona State (continue to invest in the trenches)

4.109. Cole Strange iOL Chattanooga (another guy up front)

4.115. Jeremy Ruckert TE Ohio State

5. 145. Rachaad White RB Arizona State

5. 162. Mike Rose LB Iowa State

Just did this one.  Neal would be my right tackle, Zion would be my starting center and Felelee will be our right guard.  That offensive line with Becton on the left and AVT at left guard would like the Cowboys line back in the 90s

My mock, not what Douggie would do per say

  • 1st Rnd: Travon Walker EDGE (UGA).... just do the damn 'thang
  • 1st Rnd: Zion Johnson IOL (BC).... likely a trade back
  • 2nd Rnd: Kaiir Elam CB (UF)... I think this is a pipe dream, he's highly regarded
  • 2nd Rnd: Jeremy Rucker TE (OSU)... Duh
  • 3rd Rnd: George Pickens WR (UGA)... double Duh
  • 3rd Rnd: Chad Muma ILB (Wyoming)... Some maneuvering to get another 3rd (at the expense of a 4th)
  • 4th Rnd: Isiah Likely TE (CCU)... don't get hung up on the position. He's a multipurpose weapon.
  • 4th Rnd: T. Davis-Price RB (LSU).... 6'0 210, 4.48 --> Yep.
  • 5th Rnd: Jelani Woods TE/WR (UVA)... I want all of his 6'7 250+
  • 5th Rnd: JT Woods S (Baylor).... One or the other, whoever's left.

leave your tributes at the door. I prefer mix tapes, 80s porn, and rare Metal T-shirts.
