Show Your Mock 2022 (All JN Mock Drafts Merged)

Messed with the idea of making out front 7 insane, while drafting WR and OL that can take over eventually but perhaps as not immediately.

Tyler Smith and Kinnard could both end up moving into the starting rotation when we move in from Fant and Mekhi.

Walker, Jermaine, Chenal and Wyatt combined with Quinnen, Lawson and Mosley should give us an elite front 7. Walker can lineup inside or out. So, I think we get them all on the field at once.

Still believe the draft should mostly be about protecting Zach and giving him weapons, but still select and EDGE in first 4 picks., and get defensive guys in the 4th. London, Ruckert and Thornton all bring something different to the offense as well as depth. We need a real duo at RB so picked Hall. First 3 picks were Hutch, THibs and Sauce- Icky seems like only choice in that scenario

Trading 4 for 16 and 19 to the Saints so they can draft their next quarterback can completely rebuild this roster.

I did that and then traded 16 and a 2023 second round pick for Deebo.

Edge

Deebo

LB

DT

Bell Cow Back

Future Tackle if Fant or Ticket are gone in 2023

TE prospect to pair with our two vets

Small School Edge Lottery Ticket

S/LB hybrid

Another back.

I know drafting two backs might seem like overkill, but I really like Strong.

A three headed beast of Hall, Carter, and Strong for the next 3-6 years sounds like a great tandem for a power running team.  It keeps them all fresh and keeps a very good player on the field after the injuries eventually occur.

Wilson, Flacco, White

Hall, Carter, Strong, Coleman

Deebo, Moore, Davis, Barrios, Mims, Smith

Uzomah, Conklin, Woods, Yeboah

That's a solid group of skill players with the potential to be great if Moore, Carter, and Barrios continue to develop.

Elite group if Mims can become what we all hoped.

The defense is rebuilt with Johnson, Lloyd, and Wyatt added to compliment Q, Lawson, and JFM.

This pass rush could be the best we've seen since the early 2000's or dare I say the mid 80's?

Lloyd added to the linebacker room suddenly makes the group look pretty good if Q keeps improving and CJ has shaken off all the rust.

The secondary was already rebuilt through free agency and the additional pass rush only helps them.

Like your draft.

I took a negative view that Jets won't be getting Deebo.  So I drafted London.  Breece Hall makes sense for me too.  I want a dominant run attack for ZW to take pressure off of him.  And to make play action...a key element in a Shanahan offense...more effective.

Drafted Berhard Raimann (you took Lucas) to bolster the zone blocking run attack.  He can be insurance for this year or even start now too.  Certainly a future starter.

Also drafted Devin Lloyd and Jelani Woods.

Last 1. I'd be happy with this draft. Leaves WR as a weakness, but you can't fix our entire team with 1 draft:

10. Kayvon Thibodeaux EDGE Oregon

16. Trevor Penning OT Northern Iowa

19. Devin Lloyd LB Utah

35. Lewis Cine S Georgia

38. George Pickens WR Georgia

69. Isaiah Likely TE Coastal Carolina

111. Jerome Ford RB Cincinnati

117. Kaleb Eleby QB Western Michigan

If you finish your mock and you have not drafted at least one LB in the 1st 3 rounds, delete it and start over.

Here are all of the Jets LBs on the roster:

Mosley, Quincy Williams, Phillips, Sherwood, Nasirildeen, Javin White.

I stopped reading after Williams.  This is far and away the weakest unit on the roster.  I can't imagine not drafting two next weekend.

Muma and Anderson

Ladies and Gentleman,

I'd like to present to you my post FA mock draft.  Yes, I realize we can still sign players but at this point, nothing would impact how I feel they should address the draft.  What you see below is flawless.  It's the best draft I've put together and quite frankly, should have me lining up interviews for GM and/or at least, a draft consultant.  I'm an utter genius.  There are no trades here, this is staying put and creating deep talent.  I would like to preface before I share that this is my ideal draft, not what I predict the Jets to do.  In fact, I passed on a player I'm sure the Jets would take at 10 for my preferred prospect.  So with that, I give you, the mock that saves the NY Jets:

  • NYJ
    4.
    Ahmad Gardner
    CB Cincinnati

  • NYJ
    10.
    Jermaine Johnson
    EDGE Florida State

  • NYJ
    35.
    Jahan Dotson
    WR Penn State

  • NYJ
    38.
    Trey McBride
    TE Colorado State

  • NYJ
    69.
    Phidarian Mathis
    DT Alabama

  • NYJ
    111.
    Wan'Dale Robinson
    WR Kentucky

  • NYJ
    117.
    Darrian Beavers
    LB Cincinnati

  • NYJ
    146.
    Tyler Goodson
    RB Iowa

  • NYJ
    163.
    James Empey
    OC BYU

So we get Wilson instead of Dotson and a chance to still get a few of these studs!??!?!?

If we can pull Mathis, Beavers and Robinson.  I'm going to cream
