Me and my brother in law are planning a trip to the big apple this summer to do some site seeing and take in an Indians/Yankees game. I'm finally gonna get to see how big your city is! I'd greatly appreciate any info you guys could give me on affordable places to eat, hotels and can't miss attractions. I plan on staying only 2 or 3 days so i'm sure i'll have to limit what i do. Can you guys help me and my bro-in-law out?

Also, if any of ya's are interested in meeting me we may be able to arrange a night out or something. Or maybe we can meet up at the ball park? I'm really looking forward to this trip. I've heard so much about NYC, and always wondered what it's like there.

P.S. I even plan on buying a Jets jersey. Of course someone will have to advise me which one to buy, what with all the turnover lately.

I am not the one to direct you to the good spots- we have some experts on that who will chime in but let me know when you are coming and we will have to meet up

Cleveland is a likely destination for us this year as Jets play in Cleveland again also- jetnation road trip

Are you guys driving? Get a hotel in Jersey, and take mass transit in out of of NYC each day.

DO NOT drive your car into, or around NYC-

Use mass transit. ;)

I'll be more than happy to escort you guys around one day. Once T-Mac see's this, I'm sure he'll gladly help you out, too.

We can do a Booze cruise around Manhattan.

Hell yeah Faba. I've already begun planning my road-trip for the Browns game. Saving up my last couple of paychecks in a little thing for that weekend.

If you guys want, i'll show ya around town a bit. I don't really like the flats, or most of the down town area here. The suburbs is where it's at IMO. Seven Hills and Parma have a slew of bars and eateries that are much more friendly and affordable and are withing 15 minutes of down town. Whatever ya do, stay away from the east side. ;)

I'd love for the game to be on a Sunday at 4:15pm in September with the Tribe playing a game at home on Saturday...I'd get bleacher seats for 10 bucks to that no matter who they're playing...would be a great weekend.

SP, you should definitely buy a ticket with the JN folks and get in on the fun seeing as Pittsburgh and the Jets don't meet till 2007!

It's not very wise for a Steelers fan to attend a clowns game. Trust me when i say they HATE us.

Stiller -when those guys take you past the Brooklyn Bridge, don't listen to them. It's not for sale.

Just a heads up buddy.

Actually i have been thinking about it and i would like to go see Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens. I hear about those places all the time. Of course, if it's too rough i'll just stay in the cab and look out the window. ;)

I've heard about a place called Hell's Kitchen too. I think it was in a movie i saw or something.

124. Ya know, i think i'll take you up on your jersey offer (should i not have my own by then). One thing in life ya can count on, i'll NEVER root for the clowns. Besides, you guys know that i like the Jets anyways. It would be cool to go to a game with you guys.

Paul, want to go to a Mets game?

Now why the hell would he want to go watch a Triple AAA Baseball game when he can go to the Bronx and watch one of the most storied franchises in Sports?

C'mon people, i need info dammit! :)

If the Mets are home when i come to NY i'll look into seeing if we can go. How far is their stadium from Yankee stadium?

Let us know when exactly and how many days and I am sure myself and others will meet up some time during your stay
