If they’ve got the wrong base defense alignment that’s probably an indication there are several other mistakes.

clayton163v
Ourlads keeps track of team rosters and that section of their site is kept up to date. It is useful when scouting opponents during the season. But the depth charts are not kept up to date until the season is underway. Right now, they are trying to keep the rosters straight given the influx of new talent. If you count up the players on the rosters, you will see they fall short of the 90 players that teams have under contract. Those depth charts will look more realistic after final cuts and teams get down to 53. If you are going to peruse the Ourlads web site. Consider the section on last year's rookies. It is a week by week look at which rookies are doing the best at their respective positions. Last time I looked, they still had last year's reviews on the site. It is a great read and it provides perspective on which teams have had a strong draft and who is circling the bowl. Last year, Becton and Hall both got attention. One week, Lamar Jackson got noticed. It can also show which position groups were strong and which were not. For example, tight ends were scarce last season.

jetsons
They left Naggar off of there... if he wins the job, 3 guys should be let go (McLaughlin, Chase & Ficken)... that's a +2 in the jets favor.

Lith
These ourlads depth charts are a nice way to easlly view the entire roster and players by position. The "depth chart" part is meaningless until we get closer to the season.

adobolo2
When you look at the WR group it has become such a strong aspect of our roster in a short space of time. Davis, Mims, Cole, Moore are assured of their spot. Crowder and Berrios will be under pressure because you'd have to presume one will be cut. Then between Doctson, Cager, Vincent and Jeff Smith for possibly the last roster spot. Our practice squad will be better this year than the starters in some games last year

Hardee will be on ST roster as will Wesco, Perine, Shepherd, Phillips & Guidry How about expanded rosters? Yes. More jobs. That's another way the players benefit. The game-day active roster will increase from 46 to 48 players (although one of the extra players must be an offensive lineman, which will give teams more flexibility to have three extra linemen). Practice squads will expand from 10 players to 12 in 2020 and 2021 and to 14 starting in 2022. Practice-squad salaries also are going up -- the minimum salary is $8,000 per week in the current CBA, and it will rise to $11,500 by 2022 -- and those players will be eligible for 401(k) and tuition assistance benefits. Two practice-squad players per week may be elevated to the team's roster, meaning game-week roster sizes could effectively increase from 53 to 55. And a player elevated from the practice squad to the 55-man roster could be sent back to the practice squad two times without having to clear waivers. jetstream23
Don't put too much stock into who they have as starters, backups, etc. We know certain things like Perine won't start, Vera-Tucker will start, and Mosley won't be a backup. But a few things do jump out to me... 1. We need a veteran backup QB 2. We need another CB 3. TE still concerns me a bit 4. The WR depth chart is the best it's been since 2015 with Marshall, Decker, etc. 5. Some serious potential for that DLine to be a force. 6. Saleh could do everything from 4-3 to 4-2-5 to 4-1-6 so it almost doesn't matter who is listed past the first level of the Defense. It seems like we could see an infinite number of combinations back there with the best guys getting on the field.
