RoadFan
Bridge will be out of work once Aaron Rodgers is traded to Denver. Same goes for Rhule when Carolina fans figure out that Darnold is lousy. 2

Without having a horrific injury Teddy is likely still starting in MN. He’s a very good spot starter and high end backup. He’s very accurate and he’s probably right about Carolina. Rhule was a downgrade at HC for them. 2

Popular Post Joe W. Namath
Glad we avoided Rhule as coach. This guy's answer to the qb position is to sign Bridgewater to a 3 year deal and after that blew up in his face, trade a 2nd for Darnold and commit to him for a 5th year? What a dope! 8 1

Popular Post JoJoTownsell1
In Rhule's defense, with Teddy at QB there wasn't much chance of getting in the RZ. 1
playtowinthegame
Teddy Beachwater needs to focus on how he'll keep getting those NFL checks instead of the practice habits of the team that just dumped him.

Icer
Darnold didn't have to practice Red Zone or 2 minute either since we were never in position to score or in tight games so they have that in common

Sure he's 9 TD in 5 starts and 5 wins for NO including a QBR of 99.1 says Rhule is a genius. Rhule signed him to a long term deal and doubled down on Darnold without any results. Maybe Rhule isn't a great NFL HC.

Well I am sure the GM has a lot of input but not taking Jones or Fields at 8 IMO was just dumb. Yes you have 1 less player for 2020 in the draft but you have insurance against Darnold and even if they did not play Fields or Jones would still fetch a first in a trade a year or 2 down the road. Generally that does not extend to the draft, but I do think he has more power in personnel than most HCs

Agreed. I actually think it would have been a safer move to take a QB early because it would give him two chances at QB vs the one with Darnold. He picked Teddy, that didn't work. He traded for Darnold, and if that doesn't work will the Panthers give him a 3rd chance at a QB? And if the Panthers go 6-10, they won't really be in position to take a QB at 1/2. And they won't even have a 2nd round pick to use to trade up because they used that pick to get Darnold.
SomebodytoAnybody47
Super curious to see how the Panthers season goes now that Rhule has his QB, has his star RB back, things are pretty much in place. Let's see what the hype was all about with him.
