Where were people saying that Jets players were going to stay away when other team's were going to attend?

You missed the long tired thread?

There is a reason that Rob Saleh was the hottest young coach out there.  Combine that with Joe D who was the hottest young gm out there, and this team is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Is that the sound of culture shifting I hear?  I love this time if year where the reality if the season hasn't crushed my spirit.

Well he posted a photo from his Instagram from the locker room today. So there’s that.

Mosley is chomping at the bit to play football after almost 2 years away.  He is going to be an animal in this defense next year.

For all the talk about Wilson's leadership...if Mosley calls the defensive players together you'd think he d have huge presence in the locker room (for better or worse).

While we've all hated on Mosley, the guy is a pro bowler and most importantly a field general that would really help this defense assuming he's not washed from not playing for two years

2 years away from Gase = good mental health

It would surprise me.  Zach shouldn't say sht to any vet until he earns their respect.  I doubt he's stupid enough to have dared tell anyone to show up.

I don’t know. At least he’s not inviting them to Utah.

So he’s sitting out this year too until next year?

Imagine how he would be trying to tear down everything this team has and is doing.

Seeing Woodrow has killed any joy this topic gave me.  I love the rolling up of the sleeves as if he’s a real working man.

Look at what the Knicks have done.  A new President and HC-CS have turned Knicks from laughable doormats into a #4 seed with  home playoff games ahead.  The worst team over the last 20 years and 1st playoff appearance since 2013.  They have a cache of 1st round picks and plenty of CAP space.

Sound familiar?  Are the stars realigning?

In 1969-70...Jets won their only Lombardi Trophy.  Same year Knicks won their 1st of two NBA championships.

Both under new FO-HC are starting to do things right for a change.  IMO Jets are going to follow the Knicks and turn it around this year.

2023 is not a ridiculous notion for Jets hoisting a Lombardi Trophy.  Same could be true for the Knicks.

Yep...stars are realigning.  For the times they are a changing...

So question....when the Jets win the Superbowl and the trophy is presented to Woody...are going to lose all joy in winning the SuperBowl?

Jets having over 80 and Giants only 40 is eyebrow raising.

I'm just guessing the Jets who are not in attendance so no inside info here but...

  • Quinnen Williams (injured)
  • Marcus Maye (contract dispute)
  • Greg Van Roten (NFLPA team rep)
  • George Fant (NFLPA team rep)
  • Thomas Hennessy (NFLPA team rep)

Those 2 are there, the others are not. No Lawson either.

Is it normal to have 3 NFLPA reps on one team?

I think some teams have up to 4, but there's no standard requirement. There's a main rep and backups or "associate" reps

C’mon man, it IS real work to roll up you’re sleeves when you’re wearing cuff links!

Everything feels so different this offseason compared to last year.

Does every year. We just had our Super Bowl (the Draft). Likely at peak happiness for 2021 lol.
