Becton is fat and still not practicing. There, we got it out of the way. Lets enjoy the thread.

People need to get used to this....its gonna happen a lot. The kid has an issue with food that dates back to college and last year he got a little "I have arrived" syndrome. Usually that translates to a less than stellar off season workout wise and the inevitable arrival to camp out of shape. I do think Saleh will have a positive effect on him but he likely has a ways to go mentally and physically aside from the foot issue.

Ready for training camp where the bullets fly a little more lively.

This is more what I am looking forward to. The play of ALL the receivers together....we didnt have a lot of that last season but it will be nice to hear how they look out there.

Mims- misses first camp. Plays 9 games in rookie season. Multiple injuries and illnesses. Breakout candidate.

Becton- steps in and anchors the blind side for 14 games in his rookie season. Soft as babysh*t.

K.

Becton was a first round pick and has the potential to be top 3 in his position if he can stay on the field. Until he stays on the field he’s soft.

Denzel Mims is second round pick has potential to be a very good number two receiver maybe borderline number one. He also has to stay in the field and is also soft until he does.

The breakout thing makes sense though. Becton showed greatness a couple times last season against top tier rushers so he would really be breaking out no matter how good he plays. He would be exactly what we expected him to be after last year/ Mims looked ok at times but nothing even close to hopefully his potential, so him breaking out and balling seems more likely. Becton by far the better player last year despite both of their softness.

Mims is a break out candidate.   The fact that people keep sh*tting on Becton is their issue.   Mims played well when he got healthy and they decided to pass the ball his way.
