The Lions re-signed free-agent DT Marcus Bell to a three-year deal. Bell, signed early in training camp last season after being released by the Cardinals, played a valuable role in the DL rotation last year. Bell played in all 16 games, had 27 tackles, two sacks and forced a fumble.

All minor deals but Bell had been talked about as someone to possibly bring in to shore up the defensive tackle position

That was my call. Terry f*cked up, as per usual. What a dumbass :sarc:

I wanted Bell a Jet, and felt he would have been a force. But, I can't say I'm sad to see him come back here. He's a big guy, strong, and can provide a pass rush. He fits in a 4-3 well. Ah well.

it's gonna take a 3rd rounder to get him and it'll be worth it.or a 4th this and 5th next something like that-we are in need at TE and I don't trust rookie TE's none of them......once bitten...

I'm with you. If it costs us a third, let's just get it done, dammit. There's a gaping hole there now that has to be filled. Aye.
