Marcus Maye reports to Jets facilities

Will be interesting to see if Crowder shows up...

Not sure if fines are now mandatory for holdouts from "mandatory stuff"

Glad Maye is in the fold.  I could see this turning into a 2nd year franchise tag in 2022.

Maye shows up at camp.

Next step... announcing the Maye extension!

A Maye extension and Moses signing. Can we give our executive of the year awards in June?

"Seattle Seahawks’ Jamal Adams not expected to participate in mandatory minicamp as he looks to sign a contract extension"

Hes never playing another snap for the seahawks until he is the highest paid safety in the league.  What a disaster but they knew what they were getting into so its seattles fault.

That situation smells similar to the Mets and Lindor where the player knows the team must sign the player or else the trade looks horrible. The Seahawks are in a horrible spot. If they are thinking about the future, they can't justify giving Adams a monster contract, but they also can't go into next years draft without a 1st round pick and no Adams under contract.

Maye earned $6.5M over his first four years in the league and, if nothing gets done, he has $10.6M guaranteed for this season alone. He was never not gonna show.

Yup, and it continues to be in the interest of both him and the Jets to get a deal done.
