The relevant question is does he have a greater chance of being a FQB than Darnold? The answer to that question is a resounding "yes." We already know Darnold stinks. Wilson wasn't my first choice (preferred Fields) but that is what teams must do -- you have to swing to get a hit and until you hit on a FQB, the road to a ring is dauntingly difficult. There is a reason that 16 of the last 20 SBs have been won by QBs either already in the HOF or well on their way.
