Hey guys, finally got around to writing my second blog post.  You all seemed to enjoy the first one so I figured I’d do what I did last time and share it and hopefully spark some discussion here on the forums.  I know it was cool with Max and the mods last time as long as I just posted the actual content here like we do when we share any other articles.  Not looking for clicks (it’s a free blog lol), I just wanna write for fun.

Took screenshots of it instead of copying and pasting it because I remember people complaining that they couldn’t properly view it depending on whether or not they were using light or dark mode.

 That being said, the unit was not helped by Adam Gase’s play-calling or 3rd year QB Sam Darnold’s inability to identify blitz packages pre-snap, set the correct protections, and scan the field post-snap. In fact, there was an uptick in pass protection when veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco was thrust into the starting lineup due to injury, as he was noticeably better than Darnold at all of those aforementioned tasks.

Wilson, Wilson and Wilson! These are the 3 most important things I’ll be reading up on (hopefully from @KRL). 
 

Seriously though, the OL play and running game in the new offensive scheme is critical to properly helping Zach become a top 20 Qb in year 1. The passing game is fully dependent on establishing the run game. Hoping Lefleur, Benton and Embry can teach up these players quickly.

Hopefully the O will outshine the D. My memory might be faulty, but to my recall the D has been written up each preseason, unfortunately it has turned out to be on the account of a sh!t show O.

Lol, I feel ya.  Personally, I wanna see Nelson added to the group, and still think it could happen, but I do believe they are going to give the young kids a legitimate shot.  I just hope they don’t get burned by doing so when it comes to bringing in outside help.

Another plus to the new coaching staff, with one less game they've scheduled
four joint practices (2 - GB & 2 - PHI).  Smart way to get additional reps/looks
for Wilson in a scrimmage type of atmosphere
