Here are 6 pairs players who play the same or similar basic role.  For each pair select the player you think is.....MORE LIKELY TO MAKE THE TEAM!

By "Make the Team" we mean to be on the Jets opening day 53 man roster

I think Ty Johnson and Perine both make it, although if Perine weren't a 2020 draft pick I'd be less sure.

Berrios seems like he's clearly making it. Less sure about Smith.

Kroft will clearly be on the team. Yeboah seems like more of a long shot.

I think Shepherd probably makes it. He came on strong at the end of last year and we're going to have a deep DL rotation. Marshall might be practice squad. Don't have a good read on him.

I'd assume Bless and Jackson both make it, but CB is probably one of the least predictable positions on the team. They brought in a lot of youth, I really think lots of jobs are up for grabs in the secondary and there could be surprise cuts.

I think they brought in Naggar hoping to beat out Ficken.

Perine and Johnson.  Both, assuming PS counts as making team.  One guy on active roster other guy to PS.

Berrios will make team, Smith will not.  Berrios will make it as PR, WR room is too crowded for Smith.

Kroft is more likley to make team as our best blocking TE, Although Yeboah will probably make practice squad.  So this could have gone either Both or Kroft more likely.

Shepherd gets cut, Marshall to PS.  Marshall more likely

Austin will be starting outside CB, Jackson either nickel or dime.  BOth make the team.

Ficken is more likley as our incumbent kicker.  Although Naggar will be fan favorite because we always love our back-up kickers.  At least until the first shank.

1. Johnson more likely - Perine is atrocious

2. Berrios more likely - Smith has raw talent but showed last year he can't be relied on.

3. Kroft more likely - Yeboah was always a long shot and has hands of stone. The hype with him was ridiculous.

4. Shepherd more likely - Shepherd is a solid guy. I'm just not familiar enough with Marshall although I'd like to be wrong.

5. Both Bless and Lamar to make it - I wouldn't mind if I was wrong as neither guy is great. I do think gun to my head I'd say Bless is more likely as I think Saleh will love his physicality if nothing else.

6. Naggar more likely - Honestly a coin flip. Have no idea who wins this.

I think(🤞) Kroft and Yeboah both make the team. I'm hoping Yeboah flashes and if that's the case, I think there is a real possibility Herndon doesn't make the final cut. Yeboah has the potential to be the receiving threat that Herndon could have been if he had gotten it together

Yeboah is locked up for multiple years and is cheap but has looked out of shape and dropped balls.

Kroft has a 1 year guaranteed contract and knows how to play, so he is on the team.

So the wild card is Herndon, who can but cut for no cost, but if leaves at the end of the year gets a comp pick.

I would keep Yeboah over Herndon, for upside and contract.

Yeboah makes the most sense as a practice squad stash.  Best of all worlds result there at TE.
